Our Tuesday excursion is to three valleys in the Dolomite mountains.
The first stop is at Bolzano, with the impressive cathedral at the foot of the large piazza, lined with pavement cafes and with a large statue as centrepiece.
Bolzano's museum is the home of the famous ice mummy - the caveman whose body had been preserved in the ice of the glacier.
We opted not to see it but instead took our time wandering the streets and markets.
A latte machiatto whilst I doodled a bit with the cathedral (see below).
