We take leave of the magnificent Roman Arena and head off through the narrow streets of Verona with our guide.
We visit the small courtyard of Juliet's House with the famous balcony that Shakespeare made the setting for a night of romance. The walls under the balcony are littered with graffiti in pen, marker, and chewing gum.
Left: the statue of Juliet. She existed, but there are no records of Romeo, only of the family feud.

Right: a cool shady spot in the archway to the courtyard. All was well with Kell, Denise and ourselves until the large Italian seen far right let out the most enormous fart... Kell's eyebrows hit the ceiling then the giggles started and at the point where someone said accusingly "Cor - Romeo!!! " the Italian got slowly up and walked away!
