We are in the beautiful gardens of Versailles, where the fountains have just burst into life to the sound of classical music.
Walking up the gardens we stopped for a freshly squozen orange juice which went down very well!
By now the horse-drawn carriages and landaus were doing a great trade, taking visitors down to the Grand Canal and back.
Apart from the flowers beds, lawns and fountains, the sculpture collection is extensive.
Time crept on.

The coach was returning for us at 1:00pm and if we wanted any dinner we would need to go looking for some.

We started heading back along the terrace towards the palace and the exit from the gardens, ignoring the stony-faced annoying ice cream salesman...
Leaving the palace grounds we went in search of food.

Eating in required more time than we had. The takeaway was not the cheapest!
