Ears popping, we are being whisked up the Sass Pordoi in the Dolomites by cable car. We had already climbed through 28 hairpin bends to reach the coach park which is now far below. |

It was a bit like being at the top of the world! On the flight over we had seen the snow-covered tops of the Alps and Dolomites jutting out of the clouds below. |

Cloud and storms were closing in and we headed down but just drink in those views! |
