After a night of thunder we are off to Verona.
We stop at a Sanctuary which has a panoramic view of the city. |

During World War II a church in Verona had been destroyed but the statue of the Madonna had been found unscathed. This Sanctuary had been built to house it and to give thanks. |

A couple of monks in brown habits seemed to be doing touristy things, although perhaps they were just visiting like us! |
